I’m the girl who you always see in the shadows,
Yet I run freely through the forests and the beaches.
I’m the girl who sits quietly in class,
Yet I speak the loudest out of anyone you’ve met.
I’m the girl who you believe has many secrets,
Yet I’m such an open book.
I’m the girl who you think has been through enough,
Yet you couldn’t be more right.

I’m the person who runs from her problems,
In hopes that I’ll run into a solution.
I’m the person who speaks her mind,
In hopes that someone would stop and listen.
I’m the person who keeps her problems to herself,
In hopes that someone would care enough to find them out.
I’m the girl who lost her soul,
In hope of getting it back.
